  24. It is very well possible if you use the wrong screenmode. Some games and
  25. programs don't check the actual resolution, just assume it's always 320 or
  26. 640 horizontal. My drivers have 656 horizontal for example and therefore
  27. some (usually older) games will display garbage. Early versions of
  28. ShapeShifter did this too. The solution is to boot with no startup sequence
  29. and maybe OCS/ECS, since then the new drivers will not get loaded.

  34. You can adjust that with MonED 3a, available on Aminet. My drivers have all
  35. screenmodes centered as well (I used MonED too). Anyone said AWeb? :) It is
  36. in beta stage now and might not work correctly yet. You should know that
  37. Donovan ;) Apart from that, the fault very likely lies with a datatype, not
  38. with a screenmode or driver.

  42. The driver package I made contains some WB 3.1 programs, else it might not
  43. work on all systems. So I asked for permission from Dr. P. Kittel and he
  44. referred me to their lawyer. I called him and gave my home address and
  45. phone number. Since three months or so I have received no response at all.
  46. So until I get around to repackaging the archive, harassing them again or they
  47. deem it worth the while to find my address again themselves I will not upload
  48. those drivers.
